I stayed at Cisternella in September 2023, it was very close to where I was staying. The pizza was so good and the environment so pleasant that I went there three times in ten days.

Ho messo 3 stelle solo perché ha un fico al centro del giardino, se no avrei dato 2 stelle, tra servizio lento e portate che sembravano prodotti congelati. C'è da dire che non ho mangiato male c'era un buon equilibrio tra i sapori.

Pleasant and welcoming place. In the outdoor room you will find fig trees which provide a scene but also provide shade during the day and shelter in the evening. Very good food, excellent service.

Enjoyed our dinner there. Overall a very nice restaurant near our hotel. Sat outside under the date trees. Food was great. Had a starter but it wasn't because my translation options were limited. I can recommend the Pizza Inferno. Had a very good slight spicy hint. There are different European beers. The service was good. The only problem was the communication problem - unfortunately only a little English was spoken. But that doesn't make the restaurant or the food bad in any way. The restaurant has a lot of seating and is designed for large groups. We would love to come back on our next vacation.

Nice place, good service, excellent starters and fantastic first courses, a little less spectacular was the frying which was rubbery and with a strong flour flavour.

06/10/2023: Nice place, quiet and clean. Fairly fast service. Varied and fresh starter. The seafood risotto and the fried prawns and calamari are good. Good choice of wines and quite competitive prices. Amari is coffee offered. Great I'd say. 👍

19/05/2024: Nicht nur großartiges Ambiente, sondern auch köstliche Speisen mit sehr aufmerksamem Service. Das ist eines der besten Lokale, die wir auf unserer 14-tägigen Reise durch das Salento kennengelernt haben. Vom Einfachen das Beste und auch optisch sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Ein wundervoller Ort um zu Genießen und den tag ausklingen zu lassen. Bravo!
14/12/2023: Avrei voluto fare una recensione di gran lunga migliore, ma c'è stato un "incidente di percorso". Bello il locale, gli antipasti della casa superlativi. 4 commensali su 8 hanno optato per un primo, rimanendo molto soddisfatti. 4 invece hanno ordinato un secondo, che non si è rivelato in linea con le aspettative. Un trancio di pesce secco e stopposo, che non si è riusciti a mangiare e stesso dicasi per l'agnello con patate, duro, secco e con patate al forno di contorno, assemblate, ma non incorporate nella cottura. Lista dei vini abbastanza ristretta, con ricarichi importanti. Buoni i dolci. Prezzo finale alto.
