27/05/2024: Restaurant in the coastal area of ​​Alassio, well known both for its pizza but also for its hot dishes. We tried it on a Saturday evening and I can tell you that: 1) RESTAURANT with many seats, it has two internal rooms (one of which is a veranda, therefore with an opening roof) and an external dehor overlooking the sea. We ate in the first indoor room and I must admit that it is cute and well looked after. It's a shame that they put us at a somewhat "stuck" table where there was a lot of passage of waiters and people, as well as having the table to support the staff with napkins, menus and everything needed for the service. In short... not exactly the best; 2) FOOD, starting from the fact that 9 out of 10 tables had a pizza on the table, we were a bit undecided whether to focus on hot dishes and instead... we were pleasantly surprised! The octopus risotto was very good and you could taste the burrata cream and the black olive powder. Second course for me was excellent, sea bass cooked very well and the grilled vegetables went well with it as a side dish. It's a bit of a shame about the fish skewer, although you could see the quality of the raw material, it was a little over cooked and therefore a little hard to eat. Hot heart cake good but not the best I've tried; 3) SERVICE, despite the mess the boy who served us was very good and nice, also the girl who gave us the Vino was very kind; 4) Considering that we are in the central area of ​​Alassio, facing the sea, I consider it in line with the restaurants that are in the same area. I'll be back to try the pizza too, for the moment... it was a pleasant surprise 👍🏻
