La Bul In Bari

The food here (I had the 4 course tasting menu) was creative (without being crazy), with wonderful tastes (both contrasting and complementary), beautifully prepared and presented. I dined alone (a female of a certain age, who sometimes gets shunted off into an inconspicuous corner-but not here), and was treated very nicely. I definitely recommend this for a special occasion, including just wanting to enjoy the creativity with local ingredients.

If you want to experience sensorial experiences... La Bul is the right place... guided by Chef Scalera... you will visit new worlds of taste.

Gourmet restaurant. Researched recipes. Beautiful dishes with a delicate flavour. Excellent. Absolutely not to miss the opportunity to visit this restaurant

I had a fantastic sensorial experience, the flavors of the foods were all calibrated and magically dosed and their presentation pleased the eye like a work by Klimt.

Locale ella zona centrale di Bari, già recensito circa 1 anno fa quando misi il massimo dei voti per premiare una piena maturità raggiunta nella proposta gastronomica e nel servizio in sala. La “prova del 9” e’ stata brillantemente superata perché anche questa volta abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. La scelta e’ caduta su un percorso “al buio” col quale lo chef ci ha condotto in un percorso gustativo di primissimo livello partendo da un gazpacho e terminando con una mousse di cioccolato fondente. Ogni portata e’ stata leggera, gradevole e mai banale. Anche il servizio in sala ha confermato l’ottimo livello raggiunto. Insomma … il tocco dell’artista ai fornelli (chef Antonio Scalera) si sente e come! Cominciamo una raccolta di firme per la stella Michelin????

You eat divinely! Not to be missed

Ristorante situato nella parte centrale della città. Ottimo servizio da parte di tutto il personale. Apprezzabile la cucina con vista. Buoni gli entree di tarallini e panini. Cucina elaborata ma non sempre all'altezza. Pasta cruda (non al dente) e sapori che non si sentono appieno. Buona la presentazione ma il sapore è da migliorare. Conto un pò troppo oneroso per la qualità del cibo

I had a great evening at La Bul in Bari, Italy, opting for the chef's surprise tasting menu. The food, while very good, lacked that wow factor—creative and fresh, yet missing the mark on creating lasting memories. The wine selection, featuring many local options, was a strong point, but the service, while pleasant, didn't quite reach the level of excellence found in comparable fine dining establishments.

Sono stato a Bari un po di passaggio e.con mia moglie siamo andati a mangiare in questo ristorante. Veramente ottimo, carne cotta alla brace, tutto a vista, ottimi primi e servizio perfetto tutti gentilissimi. Lo consiglio se vi trovate a Bari nella zona centrale.
