Lovely little restaurant focusing on local produce and service. Uncomplicated food done well. The bruschetta was tasty and refreshing. The veal melted in the mouth and paired nicely with some of the best roast potatoes I’ve had in a while. I usually like crispy roasts but these held their form without being over done and were super soft all the way through with a hint of rosemary! Nice take on a tiramisu - I could have eaten three of them. Had the older chap on service who looked after us and was incredibly polite. We ate with our nearly 2 year old daughter and they did a special dish just for her. Much appreciated. If you’re stopping at the HPB you’d be missing a trick not having a meal here.

We enjoyed our lunch today. Always a friendly welcome here with good service. Freshly cooked pasta dishes were delicious. The house wine is good & the restaurant is very clean & well kept.

22/10/2023: In una domenica piuttosto affollata abbiamo avuto comunque un servizio sollecito e cortese in un bel locale caratteristico con cucina molto legata al territorio. Gustoso il prosciutto di cinta con fonduta al tartufo, buoni i crostini e i pici all'aglione; non siamo andati avanti perché le porzioni, almeno per noi, erano abbondanti. La posizione è centrale con buone possibilità di sosta, il paese molto piacevole.
24/08/2023: Ormai sono anni che veniamo qui, ogni volta che siamo in Toscana. Adoriamo la loro cucina, il servizio è perfetto e la location è accogliente, con una parte esterna davvero carina! Anche stavolta non hanno deluso le nostre aspettative e vi siamo stati più volte. Consigliato!

24/01/2024: Restaurant without much pretension but good value for money. On the other hand, parmesan in a bag that the waitress takes out of her apron pocket ruins everything.
