If you’re looking for a cozy atmosphere and superb Sicilian food with a creative, innovative touch served by a young, incredibly nice team, look no further! This restaurant is located in a beautiful, slightly green hillside street only 3 minutes off the main tourist paths. Perfect location for mingling with friends and enjoying beautifully presented Italian dishes - many of them with local Sicilian ingredients! So, don’t miss out! We had typical Sicilian pasta (with a dried tomato pesto), the wonderful risotto al nero di seppie, and the salmon with pink pepper. Starter was a Sicilian cheese with pear and honey, dessert a super yummy Panna Cotta. We were served all of this with great hospitality, swift service, impeccable English and, of course, wine recommendations by Carola and her colleagues. We would definitely return and can absolutely recommend this place for a great, innovative dinner! Edit: note that my review refers to the place that used to be here before (c. 2021). I cannot say anything about new place, but it looks good, as well. ;)

06/04/2024: The restaurant is in one of the many characteristic alleys of Catania. The staff is very helpful, even to chat, in addition to the impeccable service, a greeting to Ester Messina who followed us along our culinary journey. After many years I returned to Sicily and in this restaurant I had the opportunity to remember the ancient Sicilian flavours, now dormant over time. If you are passing through Catania I highly recommend it.
03/04/2024: Real Sicily, delicious fish dishes. Nice, but very slow service, at least compared to the pace at home. The portion could be a little more generous, but this is not Hungarian cuisine. Anyway, I recommend it to everyone who likes fish! They also serve a good variety of dry white wine, you just have to ask!

17/02/2024: A fantastic place for lunch or dinner. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. The food is excellent and top quality. The price is affordable. Highly recommended.
13/02/2024: Quality, quantity, kindness, courtesy are all perfect adjectives to describe ''Fresh and cooked'', starting with the food, with attention to the smallest details, tasty, fresh, our fish dinner was enjoyed by us and above all by our guests more than welcome. Extremely attentive to every single course and equally to each guest, respecting and fulfilling our every single request, from gluten free to a meat dinner for those who were intolerant to fish. Attentive and trained staff together with the owners form an impeccable team. We had the pleasure of celebrating our daughter's baptism here, certain of celebrating other events in this fantastic and unique venue. I highly recommend!!
