Small charming restaurant inside the beautiful medieval village a few steps from the castle car park. Run entirely by nice, friendly and helpful girls who advise you on the choice of courses and follow you discreetly. Fast service and well presented dishes, we took octopus from the village as an appetizer, pici al traglio and a magnificent and delicious baked grouper "caught" from the fresh fish trolley of the day. To finish, very good chocolate salami. Good value for money, high quality raw materials, if I may the only small flaw is that they don't have house wine so either get a bottle or a glass. I highly recommend it.

We ate last night. Parked at the castle you can easily reach the restaurant which can be seen from afar due to small lights on the vault above the entrance. Baked vegetables, stuffed and fried calamari with truly excellent paranza. We will be back!

By far the best fish restaurant in the area, I've been going there for years, never had a disappointment. Pici al Tramaglio are now iconic. The fried calamari and paranza is superb. But above all, the fish from the baked trolley is of superior quality: all caught fresh and local, cooked in such a way as to highlight only the quality of the fish. Then this evening I tried the new dish of the summer: tuna, which is already unmissable. Very honest prices. Always welcomed like at home. Thank you!

Locale semplice e molto bello a gestione familiare nel borgo antico di Castiglione della Pescaia, attratti da un menù un po' diverso ma semplice abbiamo scelto di pranzare qui. Abbiamo preso cozze (ripiene) alla Castiglionese, due spaghetti alla chitarra all'isolaccia, un fritto misto di mare, due dolci, due caffè e arancello della casa. Questi ultimi due e le castagnole fatte da loro il giorno stesso ci sono stati offerti. Ci è piaciuto tutto tantissimo, il conto è alto ma considerando la qualità e la mangiata soddisfacente (il cibo, l'atmosfera e, tutto sommato, anche le quantità) è abbastanza ragionevole. Consigliamo vivamente!

Ristorante Romolo

13/05/2024: Una conferma assuluta sulla qualità e la capacità di realizzare i piatti. Il pesce a Castiglione della Pescaia lo propongono molti ristoranti ma Romolo si distingue nettamente. Consigliatissimo. Un plauso allo Chef Ferruccio, a Patrizia e al brutto ma buono Claudio !!
14/04/2024: Uno dei tanti ristorantini turistici che si trovano sulla via dello struscio di Castiglione, però questo ha una particolarità, ho mangiato il fritto di pesce più buono di sempre. Guardate che il fritto di pesce sembra una "bischerata" farlo, però quasi mai è perfetto, quando troppo unto, quando troppo moscio, quando troppo duro, qui lo hanno fatto perfetto, croccante e asciutto, una bontà, ho preso pure un crudo di pesce anche quello molto buono anche se ne ho mangiati di più buoni. Insomma consigliatissimo per una fermata soprattutto se avete voglia di mangiare un fritto di pesce ottimo, location semplice e spartana, prezzi nella media di Castiglione cioè abbastanza in alto.
