It was our special occasion restaurant. The new menu is very good but has conformed to other medium/high quality restaurants, especially in terms of prices. The "historic" waiter is no longer there and unfortunately for them, in my opinion, he really made the difference. Anyway, all good. Advised!

Very nice and intimate restaurant, the seafood carbonara is an exceptional thing that you absolutely must try. I had the seared tuna and the amberjack tartare, both very good.
I highly recommend it but make a reservation because it's nice inside but the outdoor area is a little less so..

We returned after a few months ... the food was ok, good as always ... but as soon as I entered I didn't see the usual waiter who had a professionalism and care for the customer that no one has ... in fact last night's service was awkward and non-existent ...we waited a bit for the seconds to pass the hunger ... for the coffee or for anything else they didn't even ask for it in fact we took it home ... will I go back? No

Un locale carino, ben arredato, in pieno centro storico, con personale cordiale e proposte interessanti e originali.
Conto corretto.
Ho cenato con gnocchetti casalinghi al nero di seppia, stracciatella e menta, pezzetti di tonno con pecorino e carciofi e dessert del giorno molto gradevole.
Un bel posto per fare conversazione in tranquillità lontano dalla calca giovanile

A cold evening in mid-January in La Spezia for work. There are few places open for dinner: I choose the Bayon restaurant and make a splendid discovery. The place is warm, intimate and welcoming, as its name suggests, "Ristorantino": chef Alberto's cuisine, however, is great, with well-structured dishes in balance between Ligurian tradition and innovation.
I opt for a tasting menu: appetizer with scampi crudités and hot potato pie with anchovies, as a first course a seafood carbonara with smoked tuna, as a second course with Ligurian catch of the day (San Pietro) with potatoes, Taggiasca olives and cherry tomatoes. Chocolate mousse with pear compote to finish.
All accompanied by good wine, served by impeccable staff. Excellent value for money, with decidedly generous portions.
I highly recommend it and as far as I'm concerned I will definitely go back!

Il locale è carino ma il resto non è all'altezza. Servizio medio, non sapevano descrivere molti piatti e, il piatto del giorno era tutt'altra cosa rispetto a quello che ci avevano descritto. Piatti ben presentati ma dal gusto quasi inesistente.
