True gem in the old part of the city. Exquisite food, delicious, beautiful, very fresh! We were trying to find a fish cous cous alla trapanese, and what a delight was it to find it here! Best cous cous after which we won’t take any other just not to spoil this wonderful impression. Making it better is simply impossible, a taste experience to remember forever. Wine was great, glasses of the most generous size. Very friendly, sweet and attentive personal who made us feel the most welcomed. Thank you so much, what a pleasure it was!

Delicious food - everything very fresh, good wine and wonderful service (she also speaks Polish). The chef really cares about the guests' comfort - he asks about the quality of the meals. We recommend !!!!!

We entered by chance during a walk in Ortigia, we enjoyed a mussel soup and Syracuse-style pasta. What can I say... good and plentiful dishes, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Super recommended!

Mister Sergio, il cuoco proprietario, ci è stato consigliato da un ristoratore collega, pazzesco ma è così. Si chiama Davide e chi lo conosce sa che non è neanche distante dal Pesce Azzurro. Ebbene aveva ragione, ottima cucina casereccia. Bravo nei primi , nelle zuppe, ed anche simpatico. Poi se lo consiglia un collega.. 😉

22/03/2024: Two days in Ortigia, and for 2 evenings we went to this little restaurant near the market, why? The food is so good, but not just for the good food, for the hospitality, for the courtesy, for the professionalism. They are three wonderful sisters, one in the kitchen (a great chef who does everything with great passion) and two in the dining room. We ate on the first evening, caponata with swordfish, aubergine pie, spaghetti with sardines, maccheroncini with mussels, tenerumi and caciocavallo. Second evening, octopus with broad beans, delicious "flag" calamari, with cherry tomatoes and olives, followed by the mussels and finally a nice classic cannoli. Let us advise you, the Bandiera sisters are wonderful. Two evenings, with lots of chatting, together with these beautiful people. Thank you for your welcome, you will forever be our point of reference for good food in Ortigia.
