Excellent Tuscan restaurant, top quality products cooked as they once were. Lower than average prices, despite the excellent quality. Superb Fiorentina. Homemade sweets.

Alla fine la genuinità e la semplicità delle cose premiano sempre! Trattoria con anni di storia alle spalle che sa decisamente il fatto suo. Il "menù lavoro" è alla fine un "vizio" per il palato perché le porzioni sono abbondanti e spazia tra pietanze di carne e pesce. Il servizio rapido, efficiente e capace. L'ambiente non è di certo moderno o ricercato ma è giusto così: cambiarlo rovinerebbe l'atmosfera. Vi consiglio vivamente di provare i dolci che sono fatti in casa. I prezzi onesti e ragionevoli. A presto!

29/04/2024: Ambient is chill and italian. The service is ok, could be bit more "alive". Not rude, just a bit more smile. The dishes were good. Spaghetti with ragu a bit more over salted, spaghetti with sea food also. With pesto and cheese, not over salted and tasted awsome, fresh. Water is a bit over priced, 11 eur for 0.75l...
27/04/2024: A historic restaurant in the center of San Gimignano with a centuries-old history delights the most refined palates. Environment with attention to the smallest details with a large room with historical features. Very competent, qualified, young and friendly staff. High-quality dishes with excellent quality raw materials. Among the best dishes stand out the wild boar hunter style, the pici cacio e pepe, tagliatelle with wild boar and above all the pici with rabbit (MUST TRY). One flaw is the annoying noise from the kitchen near the living room. For the rest, an experience certainly worth recommending, both for families and travellers. VERY POSITIVE…

20/12/2023: Spectacular. An enchanting place as beautiful as it is, impeccable service, with many alternatives to do during the day. In the heart of the Tuscan countryside, coming to the point (the restaurant). Traditional Italian menu, the Pizza is absolutely worth trying (perfect in every way, you close your eyes while eating it). The second courses are not quite up to par, good products, well presented dishes but still below expectations. Drink and Aperitif 10/10, atmosphere and place 11/10 (not to overdo it). Unique experience!!!!!
02/11/2023: Siamo giunti per caso in questa ristorante. Posto carino e personale cortese. Cibo nella media. Prezzi veramente eccessivi (basti pensare che una pizza Margherita di normale grandezza si paga 22 euro, Tagliatelle al Cinghiale non troppo abbondanti 32 euro, un dolce normale 19 euro, ecc.). Peccato.
