We ate well, the waiter who served us was very polite and with a nice smile, certainly not the blonde lady, I hope it's not the chef's wife, obviously for him, grumpy without the slightest smile with a strident and unpleasant voice, I think it needs to change work, it's not for her.

You enter and have the feeling of being disturbed as if you were unexpected... the beginning isn't the best but then when you open the menu you relax and find many local options, especially lake fish based, a nice surprise! It is pleasant once you have tasted both the mixed starter, the mixed fried food and the grilled whitefish, all rigorously supplied by the legendary Sebino! The flavor is intensely lake-like and I know that many don't like it but it is a joy for the palate and smell to enjoy fried food and feel like you are on the lake shore. We decide to close with dessert too to reward the cuisine for its courage... it's not easy in places like Iseo attacked by so many foreigners eager to eat... lasagne and cannelloni at any time of the day😔 The restaurant is nestled in the alleys of the town and on one side overlooks a modernized square which still maintains the old wash houses where the weeders went to wash clothes and, acting as a local radio, shared the stories (or legends?) about their fellow villagers. The bill is good.

Iseo is a tourist destination city, this is known, so finding a menu that doesn't offer tagliatelle with meat sauce, or Milanese cutlet, is increasingly a difficult task. Manzoni's providence places us face to face with the menu of the so-called "Paiolo". After reading the chef's proposals in a fraction of a second, we are about to cross the threshold of the door. You may be wondering what caused this break-in typical of a Secondigliano blitz, well it was the "Typicality". If I go to the lake I want to find the word "Lake" on the menu, not "Milanese style" if the golden Madonna is a marathon away. The rather clumsy staff accompanies us to the table and we order. My dear readers, the dishes were excellent, thanks to their SIMPLICITY and TYPICALNESS!!! Compliments to the lake chef.

Nice environment, tidy with very spacious tables. I ate an excellent risotto with perch and some equally excellent perch fillets. The owner (blonde lady) is a little cold and not very empathetic. I suggest you welcome customers, especially if they are tourists, with a nice good morning and a nice smile. PS: smiling is free 😉

Suggestive location in a square with ancient wash houses Dinner based on lake fish, excellent from the appetizer with various appetizers... to the pasta rich in fish... to the grilled char, all good and fresh To end with the delicious cheesecake... what can I say to recommend

Locale curato e cucina tipica. Buon rapporto qualità / prezzo. Un primo , acqua, vino 28€. In pieno centro storico di Iseo.

Locale perfetto per un pranzo conviviale in famiglia, cibo e servizio ottimo Ci torneremo presto!

Ristorante che pareva essere un po meno turistico di quelli fronte lago ma, nel complesso non completa le aspettative. Piatti nella norma (anche se l'antipasto di lago sembrava preparato da un po troppo tempo), locale pulito.
