I recently had the pleasure of visiting “il Pagliaio” again for Easter with my family. This charming venue offers not only an extraordinary culinary experience, but also a spectacular view of the Gran Sasso and its entire chain. The proposed menu largely satisfied the request, with dishes prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, which enhance the local flavors impeccably and with generous portions. The “guitar” and the “mazzarelle” are excellent. The wine recommended to us to accompany the courses and the dessert to conclude the meal was excellent. What makes it even nicer to return is the exceptional, young, smart and friendly staff. Each member proved to be extremely qualified, courteous and attentive to every detail. From the moment I entered the restaurant until the end I felt like I was at home. The following day, on the occasion of "La Pasquetta al Pagliaio", I returned with my friends, also to take advantage of the huge outdoor environment that the restaurant has. Embers always lit and excellent quality meat despite the weather conditions being very difficult. Also in this case the staff managed to keep the situation in hand and quickly move everyone inside the venue, preparing the room as best as possible when the wind and rain were no longer sustainable. Ultimately, the "il Pagliaio" restaurant is the ideal place for those looking for a high quality gastronomic experience in a very suggestive environment. I recommend that you absolutely not miss the outdoor events that they will surely offer with the arrival of the summer if you love being outdoors and among people, all accompanied by music, food and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

Typical cuisine with the right portions, family atmosphere, I had lunch inside, the outside is very beautiful, certainly for a sunset.

Genuinità e tradizione, questo è quello che si assapora in questo locale avvolto dalle montagne... Cibo e vino ottimo,locale accogliente e curato nei dettagli... Davvero un piccolo ago nel pagliaio, che quando lo trovi non lo dimentichi più... Consigliatissimo!
