A pleasant location, very polite and professional staff! Amazing and plentiful food! Having lunch on the veranda with the warmth of a hint of spring was perfect! We will be back, absolutely! However, I recommend booking!

It wants to be modest, a rustic, homely atmosphere, tables outside on a bar veranda with plastic chairs... because the real luxury is the kitchen. Abundant dishes that reflect the seasonality of the products and the tradition of Calcata, but always with an extra touch of magic. Oh yes, because there is not only goodness, but the search for the exaltation of flavours, both in tradition and in innovation.

Just today at lunch, despite the fact that we were a group of friends of 16 people and 2 dogs, who due to our mistake had booked for 14, we had a wonderful experience from all points of view! Hospitality, service, food, friendliness and PASSION of Everyone, especially the Captain! What can I say, THANK YOU, you are part of a niche of restaurants where hospitality and passion, the real one, still make the difference.

We ate well and paid the right price. Maybe the room inside was a little too noisy but that's ok, there were two birthdays. Helpful and smiling staff

Very clean restaurant, never seen a restaurant including the bathroom so clean. What can I say, exceptional cured meats, wood-fired bread, homemade desserts. All delicious!!!! I advise

Probabilmente il miglior ristorante della zona!
La pasta è fatta in casa, i primi sono tutti deliziosi. L'ambiente è molto semplice ed accogliente.
Prezzi nella media.
Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci!

Conosciamo il caraponzolo e Carlo dai tempi della sua apertura nel 2008.
Ogni volta che andiamo è una conferma del grande impegno che Carlo mette nello studio dei piatti,delle combinazioni di ingredienti e nella ricerca minuziosa di realtà ed eccellenze del territorio.
Piatti ottimi tra primi e secondi ,su tutti ,per me ,svettano la zuppa di ceci ,castagne e porcini e "la padellaccia"
Patate al forno d'altri tempi e dolci da degna conclusione.
Del resto Carlo è,come si definisce lui stesso,cuoco per passione.

Il nome è quello di un liquore che fanno in casa, dalle bacche del bagolaro.
Il menù è con prodotti locali e di stagione. Da segnalare gli gnocchi di rapa alla zucca, La Padellaccia, la mouse di ricotta; ma anche la polenta con i funghi, la zuppa di ceci e tutti i piatti che abbiamo ordinato.
Non ha molti coperti per questo è consigliabile prenotare.
Il signor Carlo è appassionato di libri cartacei e ne ha lì che offre da leggere.
Siamo stati accolti con gentilezza fin dalla telefonata di prenotazione.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato vivamente
