first time at Bucaniere, I had heard about it, good and plentiful dishes, excellent value for money.

I was in the area for work and it was almost three in the afternoon.....the clubs in the area were all closed at that time and they advised us to try the Buccaniere. Luckily there were no time problems and what's more we ate very well...everything was good...from the first course which was plentiful...the second course was really good with meat and fries. Even the house wine... white and sparkling was excellent... and last but not least, the price was really convenient. If you happen to be in those parts, I recommend you try it... they also do fish dishes.

Piatti vari e piuttosto abbondanti. Ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo. Unico neo, manca menù scritto. Lo stesso viene elencato dagli addetti e bisogna scegliere al volo, con lo scritto naturalmente si sceglie meglio riflettendoci un attimo.

Great food. Simple place. You can’t go wrong with the scampi pasta and ravioli. The servers were helpful accommodating even with our broken Italian. Recommend and I will be returning here.

The food was great and the portions for the price were excellent! It was hot and they didn't have the fans on and did not bring us more water when we asked. Other than that, it was a wonderful meal. We we will be back. Very glad we found this place.

25/05/2024: The best "brodetto" (fish soup) I've ever eaten in my life, amazing and plentiful, even the raw fish starters were fabulous. Highly recommended
14/05/2024: Ate in this outdoor restaurant with glass walls and a view of the historic bastion of Ortona. Ordered some simple but very good and tasty cooked and raw appetizers, tasting different combinations of fresh fish. Then some white paccheri with clams and fish, excellent pasta and well cooked, very tasty and inviting. Drank some excellent pecorino from a well-known Abruzzo winery. A good digestive sorbet. And a coffee made as it was once done with a moka. I must say that the staff were kind and courteous, in particular Mrs. Barbara, who was quick to serve them guests . Fair price for what we ate and drank. Very simple place not for people demanding service. Advised
