The room is beautiful, spacious, well made and recently renovated. The only small lack is the fridge but it's not serious, even considering the good price. The biggest limitation is that it is located in a town (Torniella) which is lost in the middle of the Tuscan countryside and far away from everything else: 45 minutes by car to get to Grosseto, 50 minutes to get to the Petriolo spa and almost 1 hour to get to Siena. The Il Boscaiolo restaurant is excellent, there is also a pizzeria. Good, genuine food, cooked with great care.

We were there for lunch... very well looked after place with the possibility of eating outside in the summer period, friendly staff, excellent cuisine; we recommend the black pici with prawns, calamari and courgettes, a real delicacy, excellent value for money. We will definitely be back

Ristorantino sulla via per San Galgano. Abbiamo prenotato la sera prima perché pensavamo non ci fosse posto ed in effetti abbiamo fatto bene perché il locale si è riempito nel giro di mezz'ora dal nostro arrivo. L'atmosfera è molto accogliente, mi è piaciuto molto lo stile con il quale è stata arredata la sala da pranzo. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto ricco di salumi, bruschette, formaggi e devo dire che con uno solo ci abbiamo mangiato in due. Poi a seguire abbiamo preso tagliatelle al cinghiale e pici cacio,pepe e tartufo: squisiti entrambi. Avrei preferito più scaglie di tartufo sui pici ma va beh...mi accontento. Per chiudere ci siamo deliziati con un tiramisù al pistacchio e una crema catalana... ahimè senza fiamma ma con una croccante crosticina. Lo consiglio vivamente anche perché la spesa è stata più che giusta.
