Abbiamo prenotato per una cena di lavoro per venti persone e quando siamo arrivati abbiamo trovato due tavoli separati , non ci sarebbe stato niente di male se avessero avuto il buon senso di avvisarci subito quando abbiamo telefonato , la responsabile con cui abbiamo chiesto di parlare ha scusati sto subito la colpa ai camerieri che non sanno che lì non si fanno tavoli grandi e quindi non ci ha avverti. Anche fosse vero ,a parte il fatto che è veramente brutto scaricare la colpa sugli altri , hai chiesto un numero di cellulare per poterci ricontattare quindi volendo ci poteva avvertire comunque del problema sul tavolo . Comunque risolto il problema del tavolo ci è voluto una vita per avere ciò che avevamo ordinato , sono veramente molto lenti , in più se ordini una fiorentina è usanza far vedere il pezzo tagliato prima della cottura, in più ci è stata servita su un vassoio che manteneva il calore quindi ha continuato a cuocere diventando immangiabile . Il vino ci è stato portato già stappato e un tipo di verso da quello ordinato senza nemmeno chiedere se ci andava bene . Il conto un esagerazione senza essere rimasti soddisfatti

10/05/2024: Restaurante divino. Não tínhamos reserva ( recomendo fazer) mas o proprietário ao saber que éramos brasileiros deu um jeitinho… ele ama bossa nova. A comida foi perfeita e o atendimento também. Recomendo muito
07/05/2024: We were welcomed very well, a place not only where you can eat very well but the family atmosphere makes you feel at home. The owner Pier is a very nice person to have a chat with, his son is equally smart. We took a legume pie in parmesan cream and it was amazing. The sweet and sour guinea fowl with plum and oranges has a unique flavour, the wild boar braised in Barolo with buckwheat polenta is of a quality you don't expect... it looks like a restaurant for tourists but don't be fooled because the cook is the owner and you can see the experience because all the food is of excellent quality and perfectly cooked. Prices are affordable. Inside it is all in a very charming and colorful baroque style. We fell in love

Trattoria Fiorella

06/04/2024: I am a totally foodie, especially of Italian food. While in Pienza my boyfriend and I had a caffe at a super fancy restaurant with the most stunning view but it was super formal and expensive so we asked the waiter (newphew of the owner) for a recommendation for a restaurant frequented by locals and his favorite restaurant. He said hands down, Trattoria da Fiorella. It was a bit off the beaten path. Very quaint, with an amazing atmosphere. The staff and family of the owners had such passion about their food and the town of Pienza (and Toscano in general ) my boyfriend had Ribollito Tuscany soup, that was to die for. I got their recipe which was just general ingredients. I’m not on a mission to replicate it. (Doubtful because we can’t get the fresh ingredients in the states) I had the grilled pork (not sure of the marinade they used) but it was grilled to order and was out of this world, also had the crostini with liver late’, desert was a cream pie (can’t remember the name but forever will remember the taste) caffe was perfect. Macchiato, btw, Italian macchiato is nothing like American macchiato. It does not have sugar in it. It is basically a double espresso with a tad of milk. The local wine that was recommended was absolutely divine. I know I sound like I am getting paid to write this or am a family or friend. I can assure you I am not. I am just so over the top impressed with this place and with the family that runs it and prepares all the meals with their own secret recipes. If you are in Pienza, this is a place that you will not want to miss.
