Historic venue in Orbetello, in the province of Grosseto, with a splendid view of the lagoon dominated by the profile of Mount Argentario. Genuine and tasty cuisine, with typical traditional dishes, and excellent value for money. Tables inside and outside and friendly and attentive staff.

I hadn't booked, and during Easter finding a table is normally a difficult task. But it was a luxury, reservation canceled at the last second which gave us a table in the corner overlooking the entire lagoon. Better than this! Very fresh fish, authentic atmosphere, honest prices, very kind staff. The experience overall is worth repeating. Only note: you eat what there is, you adapt. And that's fine!

Friendly place with super friendly staff. Good food with local dishes. Worth a try if you have no pretensions about the location. Popular prices and good food.

The cooperative cooks local fish. The formula used favors simple dishes that enhance local fish. They are tasty and generous dishes, served in a simple but effective way. Excellent quality/price ratio. To be booked in advance. I always come back willingly. The fish served may also vary according to the season. I found the convivial environment in tune with the tastes of the cuisine. We have always left satisfied.

Excellent cuisine, very fresh fish, friendly and helpful staff... a little too crowded for our tastes, but this is synonymous with good food.

Dinner is nothing exceptional. The quality of the food is good, but the prices resemble those of a high-end restaurant. I don't think it's worth the price/quality.

… anguilla sfumata fritta !!! … e potrei non aggiungere altro: un antichissimo sapore riproposto perfettamente in un ambiente caldo ed accogliente proprio sulla laguna … si può volere di più ??? … VALE IL VIAGGIO !!!

Locale a ridosso del mare perfetto se avete voglia di semplicità e freschezza delle materie prime. Non troverete ricette creative e la scelta non è ampia, com è giusto che sia quando si parla di pescato del giorno. Tra i secondi infatti troverete solo un paio di scelte ed entrambe alla griglia, in modo da poter assaporare nella sua più semplice essenza il gusto del prodotto, pescato probabilmente poche ore prima. I primi piatti invece potrebbero essere meglio eseguiti.

29/04/2024: Very good pub at average prices, good wine and friendly staff. Quite busy, I recommend calling.
14/04/2024: A little hidden among the streets of the village of Montemerano, this brewery left us pleasantly surprised. Very helpful and friendly staff and truly excellent and high quality beers (as well as agricultural ones). It was supposed to be an aperitif then it turned into dinner so I can also highly recommend the cold cuts platters. To top it all off, there is also an evening of live music organized by the owners. Absolutely highly recommended. The only flaw was the lack of opening hours, we waited outside for half an hour without hearing anything but it was worth it.

17/08/2023: Perfect environment for a nice moment of relaxation in an area where you can go trekking within everyone's reach, where in a short time you can admire spectacular views. From Sassoforte you can admire the island of Elba, the island of Giglio, Monte Amiata and the valley at its feet, the Val d'Orcia. Trekking within everyone's reach but not only, for adrenaline (and beer) lovers, Sassoforte is also one of the best places to climb without a rope and have lots of fun! Bouldering in Sassoforte! ...ask around... ;-)
