Servizio poco attento e molto lento, Pane industriale e apparecchiata con tovaglietta di carta e bicchieri poco puliti.
Siamo usciti con un conto eccessivo per quello che ci è stato servito, ingiustificabile pagare 3 euro di coperto a testa.
Il locale fa in settimana a pranzo il prezzo fisso con 8/10 euro, non si possono applicare le stesse modalità di servizio alla clientela che viene nel weekend, che paga ben di più.

In the center of Saronno, warm and welcoming atmosphere of the trattorias of the past. Excellent food without too many frills. The risottos will make you cry with how good they are! Cellar not very large but of quality. Being a small place, when it's full it takes a little patience. The work menu is highly recommended for lunch.

Parlo del menu a prezzo fisso (14€ con caffè) e posso dire di buona qualità, con varie scelte. La cosa notevole sta nella buona risposta del mio stomaco al pomeriggio. Niente sete o bocca asciutta che spesso accuso dopo analoghi pranzi in altri posti.
Il locale è di ottimo gusto rustico-raffinato.

Restaurant with a particular atmosphere.
From the outside it gives the impression of a good wine cellar, then it seems like a well-kept tavern until it becomes a small restaurant that offers quality.
As mentioned, the atmosphere is very particular and I personally particularly appreciate it: it has the appearance of the cellar of the past with well-kept and slightly soft environments, with the use of wood, bricks and copper. The last time there was also a blackout in the neighborhood and this made the experience even better having had lunch by candlelight.
The quality of the food is unquestionable, with careful presentations too. The risotto with osso buco is recommended.

Osteria found by chance, not very visible if you are not on foot or in a queue on Via Roma.
The climate is pleasant and the environment is typical of a Lombard tavern, welcoming and heated by a stove in the corner of the room.
We took a small appetizer with Pantranvai, lard and honey... good but in my personal opinion the bread had a slight aftertaste of "griddle / toaster" probably used to toast it.
Afterwards we ate risotto and ossobuco which was really good and which I highly recommend. The meat was tender and the gremolada very delicate. The rice was also well creamed and tasty. A rich, tasty "single dish" at a fair price.
As for the service, everything was ok, the very young girl in the room was very kind.
I would go back again to try the braised veal and suckling pig.

Cucina tipica milanese in ambiente accogliente. Leggermente lunghi i tempi di attesa, ma ne vale la pena una volta serviti i piatti. Ottimo il pan tramvai ed il risotto con l'ossobuco
