Gorgonia In Acireale

13/02/2024: Historic bar and emblem of the city and the people of Catania. My father went there as a child (early 60s) and I go there when I need to feel at home. No rush, no pressure: you can enjoy a snack, first courses for a simple lunch/dinner and obviously drinks in large quantities. All of this, among other things, from dawn to late evening, for the convenience of those who are nearby (right in the centre, one step away from everything). The tables outside allow you to sit in the shade of the trees and you feel good all year round; the ancient kindness of the staff brings us back to a world that is being lost, in the frenzy of the present. It's not a bar, it's an experience. You need to go there if you want to enjoy the real life of Catania.
