I LOVED IT!!! Daniel was super nice and the service was excellent, their mix with cocktails and salami it’s delicious!! Lo recomiendo 🥰🥰

Wonderful atmosphere in a well restored brick building. Great view of the display kitchen from our table. Very friendly service, great food and wine. Definitely recommend!

Chef Stefano Frassinetti welcomed us with joy and good humor in his magnificent restaurant. The open kitchen adds a kind of confidence as well as entertainment. Special mention for the beef tartare and the fiorentina which were simply magnificent.

I went with my class, we were all impressed by the quality of the dishes. The antipasto: tartare di manzo was excellent, the bisteca alla fiorentina was delicious. Chef Stefano Frassinetti welcomed us with joy and good humor! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Outstanding. Our favorite meal in Italy - so good we came back again. Very reasonable pricing for high quality freshly prepared food. Eg €118 for a shared appetizer, shared pasta, 2 filets with mushrooms, a shared dessert and 3 glasses of wine. Did not have a bad dish and if we were still in Florence we’d likely be eating there again

04/06/2024: Going early in the middle of the week we peacefully enjoyed the outdoor room enlivened by relaxing music. We ordered red beers and two burgers with chips: they arrived quickly, and were delicious. The combinations are original and the final dish is worth its price. We'll be back!

23/05/2024: We were tired and looking for a last minute place to have a nice dinner on our final night in Florence and I am so glad we stumbled upon Babae. The food was great, the menu offers a lot of variety without compromising quality, which is something we noticed many other restaurants failed to do. The space is really nice and the drinks are great but what impressed us most was definitely the staff. After being treaty so coldly by service and staff everywhere else, we were treated to perfection at Babae. Our waiter Jean was kind and attentive and super fun to talk to, made us want to come back! We wanted to tip him but unfortunately couldn’t tip with card, which seems to be the norm here, and didn’t have any cash, so hopefully the good review will make up for it. Wish service was like this everywhere else in Italy. Will definitely be coming back next time we’re in Florence.
