Gior Osteria Pizza Gourmet In Alghero

A more than positive experience, starting from the fact that Gior is located in the center, and is therefore easily reachable on foot. We ate outside, where the tables were set up in a very intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The friendliness of the staff immediately put us at ease, but let's talk about the dishes... the pizza made with a spectacular dough, certainly with slow maturation and particular flours (tentacle). My dish: seared calamari with roasted potatoes. It was like being a child again and savoring your mother's simple cuisine, but combined with the refinement of a balanced, simple and beautiful dish to look at. I don't have any photos to show because I was too busy eating, but I guarantee we enjoyed every last bite! Highly recommended!

Restaurant located in one of the most beautiful and characteristic areas of Alghero offers a menu of typical Sardinian dishes but prepared in a balanced and modern way. Friendly and competent staff and reasonable prices.

Please don't walk past this place, especially if you are pizza hunting. Very nice location and staff. Pizzas are original and the octous ink dough base is amazing. Truly one of the nicest pizza's I have had.

El "misto mare" que pongo en la foto es el típico plato "engaña turistas", 22€ por esto (que tampoco destaca por tener ningun sabor elaborado), es exagerado. Deberían aconsejar mejor al cliente, puede que un güidi vea esto bien, pero cualquier turista mediterráneo está acostumbrado a buenas mariscadas. En cambio la pizza mortazza es probablemente la mejor pizza que me he comido hasta ahora.

Ristorante in pieno centro di Alghero con piatti di ottima qualità e anche la possibilità di scegliere qualche pizza gourmet molto interessante. I prezzi sono allineati a quello della piazza, un ottimo compromesso se consideriamo la qualità degli ingredienti, sia carne, sia pesce; il personale è molto disponibile e accogliente nel consigliare i piatti. Da ritornare sicuramente.

Dopo alcuni anni riprovo con uguale soddisfazione questo locale, ottimi gli antipasti (pochi altri posti ad Alghero possono vantarsi di un simile livello) pizze molto buone e soprattutto digeribili, nota di merito per la millefoglie di carasau, dessert innovativo e tradizionale allo stesso tempo, veramente...
