04/04/2024: Not knowing what to choose from the menu, we opted, on the waiter's advice, for the tasting menu. Many of the raw materials are produced by them (oil, wines, vegetables): 6 starters (vegetable, with dairy products and also with fish of the day not on the menu), 1 first course (gnocchi with turnips, cheese and pepper with balsamic vinegar) and 1 second course ( suckling pig cooked for 72 hours with its reduction and puree), 1 water, 1 Verdeca of their own production, 2 coffees. €114 for two. The dishes all had traditional elements and ingredients, but also revisited in a modern way.
The refined appearance of the restaurant and the location already suggest that the prices are higher than average, so I think that the price is justified both by the quality and study of the dishes offered and by the structure (everything has costs, there is no denying it). As a Venetian traveling to Puglia, I consider myself more than satisfied, both with the food and the price, because in places of the same level the expense is the same, but quantitatively speaking the portions are half the size. So I can't help but compliment you. You never give the maximum rating, because there is always room for improvement, if I could I would give it 4.5 or 5-, but I repeat, congratulations.
The staff were friendly, professional and at the same time approachable. Even the owner (I assume he was the owner) made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. Suggestive location under the olive trees in the external "garden".
