Reserving a table at this restaurant on New Year’s Day was made super easy by TA’s The Fork app, and we were seated comfortably upon arrival by the friendly staff. The main dining purpose of our visit here was to sample the Bistecca Fiorentina, and boy, was it good. Mixed salads, a primo piatto of pappardelle were also good, and sides of roast potato and particularly the white beans were excellent. Likewise, to finish, affogato and beautifully-balanced grappa concluded our meal perfectly. I can thank a travel guide, very experienced with showing large tourist groups through Florence, for this recommendation - it was a delightful meal.

08/02/2024: The most friendly and welcoming people in Florence. Note this is the store labelled “BIG” outside. Got a few baked goods on our way to Piazzale Michelangelo and it was the best treat you can have while enjoying the view. If you can get their donuts fresh, it is the most perfect food you can ever enjoy.
23/11/2023: If you go to Piazzale Michelangelo (which you have to), you should stop by and eat at Big Forno San Niccolò, everything is fresh, the place is very cozy and smells delicious, and the best of all staff ! Everyone there is very friendly, attentive. Congratulations to the Big staff, You guys are doing an incredible job, I appreciate all the attention!

03/04/2024: Extremely nice place, especially if the weather is nice and one is outside on the benches in the greenery, very clean and in any case original in the stylistic choices. I've only ever had drinks with friends, but never eaten; drinks and wines good but not excellent. Also very friendly staff, but not very expansive, I didn't have the feeling of being welcomed
31/03/2024: Interesting place with a terrace in a garden and seeing two towers and the Wall of Florence. Local public. Lots of atmosphere. As it was mid-afternoon, the kitchen was not open. But they had bags of potatoes. At the Sunday Brunch, modern atmosphere and beautiful people. Good at Brunch: Avocado toast with egg, Omelet with mushrooms, and Club Sandwich Current music well chosen or cared for. Soft volume. Jack Johnson Songs
