Excellent pizza, light dough, courteous and fast service, place found by chance but I would happily return

We stumbled upon it by chance, wanting to escape the sultry heat of the city to take refuge in the hills, we came across this pizzeria, in a somewhat peripheral and quiet area of ​​Altamura. Let's start with the menu: rich. You are truly spoiled for choice with the numerous pizzas on offer. From the traditional ones with tomato, to the white ones up to the gourmet ones, with prices reaching a maximum of €12 for the most elaborate and rich pizzas. The dough is made with semolina, at least the pizza my wife ordered. I opted for the cereal dough, well, I enjoyed the chosen pizza (buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and Norcia) as I hadn't done for a long time. The height of the edges of the pizza is average, neither thin like the classic Barese nor double like the Neapolitan, for which the choice is provided from the menu. Classic but also special appetizers, such as fried bacon strips, or baked mortadella triangles, fried pullee pork... Truly succulent and abundant dishes.

I really liked the Pizzeria Fior di pizza in Altamura both for the quality and the service. The pizzas are made with semolina (which gives crunchiness and roughness to the dough) and with multigrain dough. They have a variety of both white and red pizzas, all excellent, plus the special gourmet ones. The service is efficient and the staff are very friendly. We will definitely return

Great pizza!! It was our first time in this place and I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dough and the raw materials used.
