I went in skeptical and left enthusiastic! I like to know in advance the menu that I am about to taste, also because I have some allergies, but this time, after being warned about my problems, I decided to take the plunge and hit the mark. "La casa" by chef Lo Basso is small and welcoming, the table only seats 12 and is located in the kitchen. The experience is engaging because the chef tells both his dishes and also various anecdotes. After the first 5 minutes, you feel like you are among friends. The staff is exceptional, all very good. The route includes 5 stages, starting with the journey, that is, with a series of appetizers, followed by the sea, countryside, land and finally the greedy world routes. The dishes are refined and delicious, some surprising, such as cuttlefish, red mullet and meat tortelli. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting

20/05/2024: Located on the Ripa, the road a little higher than the Naviglio Grande towpath, (navigable canal designed by Leonardo da Vinci) this restaurant has a unique atmosphere. From the room, through the enormous windows, one expects, at any moment, to see the "barges" pulled by powerful horses ascending the towpath. The service is perfect, the welcome is correct with the taking of coats and the accompaniment to the table. The menu is not excessive and the wine list is complete. Correct cooking times. The risotto... good and in the fashion of the times: I continue my battle that the risotto should not be spread on the plate by tapping underneath with your hand; arrives at the table cold. Risotto is solid, not liquid, but that's how it's used today! The bill is normal. Go to Ripa, if you have imagination and the right place... and if you lack imagination you will find it there.
12/05/2024: Lunch for an intimate wedding, excellent cuisine, excellent service and care in the dishes, we will definitely be back
