I had been told by our tour guide that the bread made in Florence has no salt, but I didn’t think it would be a big difference…..yes it was! I like salt in my bread. We ordered lasagna and it was pretty good. We ate outside and it was great atmosphere! Our waiter was great! Loved the leather shop next door too!

The BEST pasta we had in Florence. The service is phenomenal. The owner was sooo kind and remembered us when we came back and offered us free wine. I absolutely recommend this place. Also great outdoor seating views!!!

Mangiare all'aperto in piazza Santa Croce è già un buon motivo, ma anche il menù è all'altezza. Personale cortese premuroso ed efficiente. Piatti tipici toscani essenziali gustosi e giusti per il tipo di ristorante.

Una bella location, ci sono passato un mondo di volte ma mai entrato, poi il 1 anno dopo un giro per Firenze, abbiamo deciso di provare questo locale. CIBO toscano devo dire tipico , di qualità ma anche con un tocco di novità nei piatti.. Filetto alla mandorle devo dire buono, cottura giusta..e anche il dolce arancia squisito. Poi la vista sulla piazza bellissima. A presto. Complimenti al cameriere, e per finire limoncello offerto. Complimenti anche al locale e al bagno con le candele bella atmosfera accogliente.

The owner and staff are always friendly and staff are always friendly and accommodating. And the food is always first rate. Their lasagna and roasted pork is by far the best in Florence.

Locale carino ed accogliente. Abbiamo preso ribollita buona, peposo buonissimo anche se non molto peposo quindi forse poco aderente a quello che dovrebbe essere. Buona la ribollita ed anche i dolci. Nel complesso é stato un bel posto dove fermarsi a mangiare ma nulla di eccezionale.

19/05/2024: Ritornato dopo un periodo che non ci eravamo più stati lo abbiamo scelto sia per la location che per il ricordo di un ristorante dove si stava bene. Infatti le nostre aspettative non sono state deluse. Buon cibo, con l inserimento di nuovi piatti accanto ai classici che vi si trovano in questo ristorante, ho preso un orecchio di elefante servito con gorgonzola e guarnito con zucchine julienne..un piatto abbondante e cucinato benissimo. Servizo veloce e attento, nonostante il locale fosse pieno, tanto da farci sentire comunque come a casa.

21/04/2024: We went to the restaurant, it seemed to us that details were missing on how to present the bread, bring something to put on the bread at least butter. They don't put a candle or a USB lamp on each table to give the place a warmer touch. The food was delicious but the atmosphere has a lot to improve.
