The restaurant is very beautiful and characteristic.
The food is good, but a little too heavy and greasy.
While the service was a bit so-so, a bit absent and slow and not very friendly (except for 1 waitress who compared to the others was smiling and very kind).
Fair prices (45 euros for two: two spaghetti, dragon clouds, spring roll, prawns and dessert with wine too).

Well-maintained and furnished in Chinese style. Menu full of courses and with photographs to make the customer understand what they are ordering, thus making the meal easier. Good and tasty dishes. Excellent quality/price ratio. Particular praise goes to the friendliness of the owner! To return.

I was struck by the traditional Chinese style decor, which is now rare to find, as most other restaurants are furnished in a modern style.
At lunch it offers a menu from €10.90.
The portions are right, adequate quality/price ratio.
The à la carte menu, however, is a little more expensive than other Chinese restaurants, but being in the centre, this is normal.

The place and the food are pleasant. Unfortunately now it looks they are giving priority to prepare food for delivery (glovo, deliveroo) rather then serving the clients sitting at their tables. My wife already finished her dish while i was still waiting for mine. In the meanwhile many glovo bags where leaving the kitchen to go around the city. They overlooked the fact that the delivery clients can as well be the ones who come to eat at their tables.
Edit in 2004, came finally back, the service was a little better but still with a lot of room of improvement.

È sempre un piacere venire a mangiare in questo locale! Tradizionale e ben curato, vasta scelta di piatti tipici tutti saporiti. Rapporto qualità-prezzo più che onesto! La scelta ideale per chi desidera trovare un angolo di Cina a Torino ed essere soddisfatti senza spendere molto.

Il miglior Ristorante Cinese .... mangiamo qui da ormai 25 anni, purtroppo 😂, stiamo invecchiando insieme ! Ha sempre il suo perché .

Un ristorante che ha ancora mantenuto un arredo tipicamente cinese con musica cinese in sottofondo. Piatti ben proporzionati e prezzi nella media. Cameriera simpatica e cortese.

Vado in questo ristorante da quando sono piccola, quindi dagli anni '90 e i miei genitori ci andavano già prima che io nascessi. Se sono in centro e ho voglia di cinese, non esiste altro posto per me (ed è lo stesso per la mia famiglia): du cheng è l'unica scelta possibile. Piatti buoni, personale e titolari gentili, locale bellissimo. Se proprio gli devo trovare una pecca, questa riguarda i bagni: non sono accessibili da persone con disabilità (sono al piano inferiore raggiungibile tramite scala a chiocciola) e non sono ben tematizzati come il resto del locale. Ma poco mi importa, finchè sono puliti!
