A landmark of the most beautiful part of Bergamo, the upper city. It is now an institution that maintains, despite its considerable history, excellent quality and service. The restaurant itself is already a magical place immersed in a unique atmosphere. Whether you eat inside or in the cloister you will be captivated by the unique details. The international and multi-ethnic staff have an old-fashioned kindness, always smiling and ready to offer a quality service. Congratulations to the maitre d' and her boys! The food, quality and price was superb... Starter, first course and dessert for all the diners were super. Each dish contains refined products with unique flavours, as if the dish were made up of many small distinguishable elements which overall gave an explosion on the palate. All on a day like Mother's Day where the restaurant was full. I've been going back as long as I can remember and it's a pleasure every time! You deserve all 5 stars

Excellent and well seasoned pizza

Service was great - attentive, friendly and quick. The food was a bit bland - the seasoning/salt could have been better. Unfortunately, the tables are tiny and you couldn't eat in a relaxed manner or grab a glass of wine.

It was a unique and enjoyable experience at Da Mimmo Restaurant From the first time you enter, you are celebrated by the entire restaurant staff with all friendliness, respect and appreciation For me, the food was the most beautiful thing I had ever eaten, whether pizza, spaghetti, or even tiramisu Very delicious and worth coming back to even if you are in Milan Note: Make sure you say that there is no pork or wine/alcohol in it and you will see that they know and appreciate it.

Very interesting, it offers a menu with few but refined dishes. You are welcomed by the very friendly owners. Environment with few tables, so booking is advisable.

Fantastic find in the Alta - delicious food choices

Truly a (fantastic) experience Given that a local friend strongly recommended me to try the casoncelli (I will never stop thanking you Saby), we decided to taste the two menus offered: Bergamo and the seafood one. It was like undertaking two journeys, one from the north leading to the south and vice versa. Clear flavors that led from Bergamo to Sicily and back, which meet halfway, on the table. We left full of taste and... joy, also thanks to the very nice maìtre who, together with the staff, welcomed us with kindness and a smile. Genuine flavors (first from handcrafted pasta... and you can feel it!!), with satisfying and refined combinations and combinations, despite the simplicity of the ingredients. All served with elegance and attention also to the aesthetic side of the dishes, in a very beautiful place, located in the main street, Our taste buds and our palates sincerely thank you!! P.s. : little tip. Given the high professionalism of the welcome, table service and kitchen, I would avoid discussions between the waiters within earshot of the customers... perhaps I would move to a separate location. It seemed to me to be the only discordant thing that didn't live up to the elegance of the place.

Storico locale nella Bergamo alta. Servizio preciso e inappuntabile. Abbiamo mangiato la pizza: così così. La mozzarella non sciolta non si può vedere! Ma quello che non va sono i prezzi: cari, molto cari.

Ho cominciato con la pizza di fine anno scolastico con i compagni di classe più di 40 anni fa e anche la pizza dell’altra sera , e’ stato un piacere! Come il ristorante anche le stesse pizze hanno avuto negli anni la giusta evoluzione e il tutto, insieme agli ambienti ed il personale , mantiene giudizio più che meritevole. Una giusta tappa per chi vuole una sosta di piacere nella splendida Bergamo Alta. Vince il turista ma anche il bergamasca mantiene piacere e passione nel frequentare questa storica pizzeria ristorante. Il rapporto qualità prezzo e’ più che buono. Personale attento e gentile. Buon cibo, bel bere e fantastiche pizze. Sempre consigliato.
