Typical trattoria, on the corner of a square used as a car park. Normal prices, quality local cuisine and correct portions. It's worth ending the meal with a cream ice cream sprinkled with Barbera Chinata, a real specialty!

I would recommend it to anyone in the area! Excellent food of excellent quality, from starters to dessert. The hazelnut cake was a surprise that I won't tell you, I didn't think a hazelnut cake could be so good! The wine list does not disappoint: many DOCG products from the area from local wineries. The service was excellent, without long waits. But above all the staff was very welcoming and approachable. Mrs. Susanna is very nice! I also appreciated the location: elegant and old-fashioned in the right way.

Locale accogliente dotato di una bella cantina. Carta dei vini molto varia e cibo di qualità. Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo. La proprietaria è stata davvero molto gentile e pronta a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Lo consiglio assolutamente

Come sempre siamo stati in questo posto attratti dalle recensioni positive. Il locale è carino, la sala da pranzo è in un seminterrato, dai soffitti a volta presumo si tratti di una vecchia cantina. I tavoli sono ben distanziati, anche se tutti occupati si riesce a conversare senza dover urlare. Il personale di sala cortese e preciso. Il menu prevede la scelta è tra sette-otto antipasti, altrettanti primi e tre secondi. Tutto il cibo che abbiamo ordinato era buono pur senza toccare vette di eccellenza. I prezzi abbastanza elevati per ciò che si è mangiato, il vino carissimo (21.00 euro una bottiglia di dolcetto delle langhe ...). Visto, provato, ma da non tornarci. A Moncalvo c'è almeno un altro ristorante di livello decisamente superiore.
