I would prefer to find less potatoes in the meatballs, but it remains one of the few places in Venice worth the visit especially for the BARBUSSAI. So far I've only found them here

One of Venice's noteworthy cicchetterie. Awarded several times by industry magazines. A short distance from the central train station. Excellent flyers, excellent raboso. Outdoor and indoor tables, a very classic place that I highly recommend. Like all these places, there is a toilet but it is small and narrow, which is normal. Update 2024: the place has remained the same, still beautiful and quaint, the management is the same, and the food is still good. I've been going to this cicchetteria for almost twenty years.

A very nice discovery, typically Venetian, great welcome, we taste wonderful antipasti, with a glass of Bardolino or a Spritz. I recommend, wonderful.

Zona cannaregio, si trova sulla strada principale che da stazione s. Lucia va per andare a San marco. Ottimi cicchetti e spritz. Consigliato! Appena si libera un tavolo lanciatevi e poi ordinate al banco, oppure aspettate il personale.

Nous avons bien mangé et les prix sont abordables. Personnel sympathique. Prix pour un plat Gnocchi 4 Fromages et le menu (spaghetti vongole et friture mixte) accompagnés de deux cocas : 37.50 euros

28/02/2024: Es un local chiquito muy cerca del puente de Rialto. Es muy popular y casi siempre hay cola aunque los empleados son rápidos y eficientes. Es un sitio perfecto para hacer un alto en el camino y tomar un aperol-spritz con un par de ciccetti (unos 8€) Se como en el exterior. El ambiente que se crea en la plaza es muy agradable y multicultural.
17/02/2024: Spritz (aperol, campari, ma soprattutto select) perfetti. Cicchetti deliziosi. Personale simpatici. Prezzo onesto.

21/02/2024: Il locale non accetta prenotazioni. All’interno ci sono una trentina scarsi di coperti. Il menù è uguale per tutto l’anno,consiglio di dividere le porzioni di primo, anche il tris di baccalà. Unico neo: ho trovato mezzo spaghetto all’interno dei paccheri con burrata e gamberi, comunque buoni.
10/11/2023: Il locale è un pò nascosto. benché sia sulla strada principale, la vetrina è coperta e non c'è insegna molto evidente. Di fronte c'è il parcheggio della stazione, quindi comodo sia oer parcheggiare che arrivando in treno. Siamo statie la sera di halloween e il locale era totalmente addobbato per l'occasione. Non accettano prenotazioni, ma essendo presto non abbiamo fatto coda. Servizio rapido e personale molto gentile e premuroso. Cibo molto buono e quantità super abbondanti (abbiamo preso 3 primi, io paccheri con pomorini e mazzancolle veramente buonissimi). Tiramisù al pistacchio buono. Ancora un elogio al personale, tutti molto gentili.
