Typical Venetian restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and impeccable service. The dishes are OK but expensive. This is not our best restaurant in Venice but if you are looking for authenticity you are in the right place.

We recently had an unforgettable dinner at Ristorante Da Ivo, and I can't praise the experience enough! The lobster pasta, prawn and asparagus salad, and Branzino were all cooked to perfection, showcasing authentic Italian flavors in a quaint and charming setting. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making for a truly memorable meal. Ivo was the keystone of our stay in Venice!

Delicious food in a lovely setting. The staff is serious about their work but do a very good job. Worth a visit but you may need a reservation.

We had the Bronzino and the sliced beef fillet. We had the stuffed zucchini flower appetizer, which was tasteless. The Bronzino was bland. My sliced fillet was excellent. This restaurant is not worth the prices they charge. We had excellent meals at half the price at other restaurants.

Dinner reservation was arranged by our hotel concierge. Very good food - soft shell crabs when in season are excellent. John Dory entree and baby octopus appetizer daily special we're quite good as was the spaghetti with clams. A small dining room accessible by water (taxi, gondola) is decorated with celebrity pics - not my thing but I appreciate their efforts. Felt like the restaurant really markets to Americans, with waiters who spoke fluent English and provided excellent service.
