I returned to this restaurant after two years and I confirm the stars awarded. Nice little place near the Villa Comunale of Naples not far from via Caracciolo. Lots of photos on the walls of international famous people, actors, journalists who have visited the place. You eat fish, fresh, divinely cooked.

I found out about Dora’s from Air France when I was going from New York where I live to Paris and then Naples, it was recommended on the points of internet map and I’m happy that we got the chance to check it out because it is totally worth it! It is themed like a ship and I highly recommend the Tuna Tartare!

I've known them for years and I'm more than happy to return.
The food is superb, starting from the starter to the dessert..

Una serata fredda con vento di tramontana prenotato alle 21:30 un tavolo ci fanno aspettare fuori al gelo per 20 minuti…..Abbiamo preso 3 tartare e un misto mare , 3 linguine alla Dora buone e un ‘insalata di calamari tristissimi servita von un po di rucola, una bottiglia di vino che sul menu costava 30 euro e ritrovata nel conto a 35 euro, niente dolci solo un amaro e una grappa 75 euro a persona sinceramente mi sembrano tanti! Ristorante piccolo e molto rumoroso, peccato che esiste da 50 anni….

Un buon ristorante con piatti tradizionali della cucina napoletana. Buona materia prima, buona mano in cucina. Molto buoni gli.Antipasti . La nostra orata al forno ( un particolare grill che ci è stato consigliato) era buona ma non ottima. Una buona scelta di vini. Location carattetistica molto apprezzata da turisti. Anni fa era un ristorante eccellente e caro dove si mangiava benissimo ed un tifrtimrnyo della ristorazione napoletana. Oggi è ancora un po’ così ma non raggiunge l eccellenza della sua storia. Vale la visita ma costi elevati
