Exceptional sandwiches. You can find everything, even gluten- or lactose-free products. Super friendly staff. At the entrance there is a shelf of Sicilian wines, where the young Erika recommended us a magnificent Feudo Maccari.. Every day has fresh fruit and bread. There are comfortable stools outside where you can eat your freshly purchased sandwiches in the shade.

Great supermarket. In the heart of Ortigia. A little pokey and small. But bursting with a great little wine collection and a fresh deli counter that rocks the formaggio and salume alike. Pre dinner time is especially busy with the last minute locals mixing it with the tourists. Great vibe

Cold beer in Italy is rare in supermarkets. Maybe the price is a bit higher but the beer is cold so cannot complain!

We went in to buy typical sausages from there thinking that we were not going to understand each other and the girl at the delicatessen, despite her speaking in Italian and us in Spanish, served us wonderfully well, she advised us, she gave us something to try so that we could choose and We bought a little of everything, everything was delicious, the caponata that was their reward was delicious and their service was excellent.

20/04/2024: Nothing like this has ever happened to us... The staff was quick and correct but without any words or at least a smile.... Ordering the fish, I asked for a side dish, the young lady's response: "Okay, there's a sauce nearby...." (?) At the exit they opened the door for us, we said thank you and said goodbye but no response!!!! Not a thank you, not a good evening... not even a goodbye..... Maybe because we didn't order a bottle of wine but only glasses...maybe because we split an appetizer in two?? Be that as it may: The atmosphere creates not only the interior and the style but above all the staff....the only person in the right place, in our opinion, is the chef! The older gentleman (the boss?) shouldn't be dealing with customers!
19/04/2024: Pizza ? Something phenomenal! Leavening 72 hours, and every single ingredient is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Seeing is believing! Congratulations to Tony and all the staff! I will be back to try other dishes!
