30/03/2024: I came across this restaurant practically by chance, Sunday lunch.
Rich and delicious dishes, very quiet environment and friendly staff.
Advised.
26/11/2023: Very nice place, high up but not too much, takes you out of the city. The restaurant is old fashioned, maybe 80s, which I personally don't mind. Really large dining room, exposed wooden beams, comfortable sofas, unfortunately I must say not very clean in terms of crumbs, in my opinion an oversight rather than a habit. Very clean bathrooms. Let's move on to the food... bishop's appetizer, exceptional salami, vegetable omelette too. I would say the rest was average, in the center there was a julienne of courgettes and perhaps aubergines loaded with garlic. Taleggio and Speck gnocchi, very soft, lots of cream, taleggio and Speck in a drop. Casonsei Bergamo style seasoned truly as a work of art, nice crunchy bacon and sage, nice soft, filling with a rather sweet note that doesn't drive me crazy but mitigated by the seasoning. Red wine stew with taragna polenta, super soft meat, nice fat as I like it, otherwise I didn't like it. Very salty, the sauce looked like a granular brown base and I couldn't taste the wine, the polenta had a burnt aftertaste and was definitely not taragna, and for 17.50 euros I'm a bit disappointed. Profitterol and tiramisu are definitely positive notes. Bulk wine I'm sorry, watery and very strong in alcohol, unpleasant to my taste. The two of us spent 70 euros, which I would say is normal. Fast, discreet and very professional service.
