My husband and I went to this cafe today, we really liked the croissant (brioche) which had a choice of flavors to add to it. We had a cappuccino each. Very good location. We ate a toast each. Total €19.00. We recommend.

Bar/pastry shop very close to the famous Piazza Cavalli. Several tables in the outdoor area. Acceptable service (unattentive waiters) and rather grumpy at the checkout (perhaps the owner). Very beautiful, characteristic and well furnished upper internal room. Toilets not suitable and not accessible for wheelchairs. Coffee served in beautiful cups and with a welcome biscuit.

Ottimo il caffè,tra i migliori a Piacenza.Titolare cortese e servizio efficiente.Piccolo il locale all’ingresso,ma ha una bella saletta al piano superiore,ed i tavolini all’aperto.

29/07/2024: The location is pleasant with a view of Piazza dei Cavalli. But in ten days spent in Italy, we had never paid €8 for a Spritz alone (without an aperitif)…
13/07/2024: Certainly more full-bodied than standard aperitifs, but I would have also appreciated some chips and peanuts, as per convention. It didn't tickle the palate enough to deserve more than 3 stars. The spritz is excellent; you could smell the alcohol. The kids might be more encouraged during the service, but I understand that it was a Friday in Piacenza, and I also understand that working part-time in a bar is not the greatest of youthful aspirations, so energy tends to wane. I don't think I will return there a second time.
