Very friendly welcome. Relatively high prices.

Even though the place is great and rooms/washrooms very nice, the caretaker women was very rude to all the guests. I had an unpleasant encounter with her, she displayed a rather rude attitude and even urged me to vacate the hut yelling and abusing in Italian. She hadn't informed me about an 8am checkout time, and this policy wasn't posted anywhere for me to see. Her behavior was quite peculiar, and it stood in stark contrast to the kindness I had experienced from others along the trail. Consequently, I wouldn't recommend staying at this refuge. Maybe book Maison Ville which is also at the same location and a much better host (as mentioned by others on the trail).

I had an excellent evening and night there. U. Of the best lodgings encountered on the tour of Mont Blanc.
