We had dinner last night 8/26/23 at Chalet Alex, (we stopped in San Benedetto for one night to break up the journey home from holidays and I'm so happy to have eaten here because I ate like heaven). Very clean and very nice place, right on the sea. We all ate very well. Delicious appetizers... but... the fish carbonara pasta with bottarga, if you don't take it you're crazy because it's superlative 🤤 I fell in love with this dish, all the other dishes taken from our table were also really delicious. Finally we concluded with sweet Noah who was a real bomb 🤤. If we ever return to San Benedetto del Tronto I will definitely return here without a shadow of a doubt. 2 starters (1 salmon with rocket, cherry tomatoes and almonds and 1 mix of cold seafood starters) 2 first courses (1 fish carbonara pasta with bottarga, 1 half sleeve with fish and pachino tomatoes) 2 sweets (2 noahs) 3 water And covered for 2 people for the sum of €68.50. In our opinion, a very honest price given that you eat by the sea, the portions are generous and you also eat divinely. And to top it off, the staff is very kind and friendly (the Argentinian girl was really sweet and always smiling). Thank you very much to all the staff.

Chalet with large spaces and very clean beach. The food in the restaurant is very good

Bar side: Raw sandwich and vegetables for €4.50...definitely the wrong price, and having it heated up seems to be something that causes annoyance. Coffee cream for €3, except that it looks like coffee and cold milk (not much) and cream: if it's not ready, why serve it? Mineral water from 0.5l to €1.20 - in almost all chalets (Excelsior among them) they sell it for €1, it makes you think a bit... Restaurant side: not tried Beach side: umbrellas well spaced, those in the very first rows were often unoccupied but always booked.

Cambiando la gestione dopo oltre ca. 15 anni e 10 anni che veniamo qui....purtroppo cambia un po tutto !

Appena terminata una settimana di vacanza, i complimenti a tutti quanti lavorano allo chalet Alex persone gentili e disponibili , dal bar, ristorante TOP, e ai bagnini in particolare un saluto a MIMMO !
