Canuleia In Lucca

A great address in Lucca! A succulent risotto and good wine. I recommend this restaurant, the prices are very reasonable.

Very pleasant restaurant, with a shaded terrace, very kind staff and above all refined dishes which are not excessive at all, we had a very pleasant time!

We had a very good dinner. The staff is super attentive and pleasant. The relaxed atmosphere. Very good food. We had crostone, tagliolini nero, tortelli luchesi, lamb ribs and desserts.

This place has a very cozy inner yard and the staff is friendly, but I didn’t really like the food. Ravioli with meat were tasty, but both of the main courses (fish and steak) were lacking of taste.

Great lunch there.. great staff, decor and outdoor area. Go!

It’s okay place for a quick dinner. We sat on the terrace and it was quite good there. Service is alright and they are really trying to help you. Food was ok, ravioli were good, but main dish (grilled beef) was bad - tasteless with a lot of oil.

The trattoria is nice and has a very cute inner garden where we were lucky to sit, it was super peaceful and felt like a great place to get away from the busy streets of beautiful Lucca!

Mi è stata consigliata questa trattoria da una conoscente del posto. Ha decisamente superato le mie aspettative, tanto da tornarci una seconda volta, durante il mio soggiorno a Lucca. Gli ingredienti moderni si mischiano alla tradizione toscana in un ambiente accogliente. Ho assaggiato un primo piatto di paccheri alla trabaccolara su crema di fagioli cannellini; un secondo piatto di trancio di baccalà su riso rosso e salsa «cacciuccata»; come antipasti ho assaggiato zucca stufata con stracciatella, alici e crumble di nocciole, cecina con baccalà mantecato e pomodorini, tortita di broccoli con seppioline saltate e chips di topinambur. Consiglio soprattutto gli antipasti! 🇬🇧was recommended this trattoria by a local acquaintance. It definitely exceeded my expectations, so much so that I went back a second time during my stay in Lucca. Modern ingredients mixed with Tuscan tradition in a cosy ambience. I tasted a first course of paccheri alla trabaccolara on cannellini bean cream; a second course of cod steak on red rice and 'cacciuccata' sauce; as starters I tasted stewed pumpkin with stracciatella, anchovies and hazelnut crumble, cecina with baccalà mantecato and cherry tomatoes, broccoli tortita with sautéed cuttlefish and Jerusalem artichoke chips. I especially recommend the starters!

Abbiamo trascorso la serata di San Silvestro qui, c’era menu fisso con numerosi extra rispetto a quanto concordato e associato ad una interessante degustazione di vini. La sorpresa è stata che, nonostante fosse il cenone di fine anno, avendo un bimbo piccolo con noi, ci hanno anche preparato piatti a la carte, questa cosa ha semplificato molto la nostra serata con bimbo e siamo stati tutti benissimo!!! Il personale è stato gentile e accogliente e la preparazione dei cibi è stata all’altezza di un bellissimo cenone del 31! Bel modo per salutare il vecchio anno e accogliere il nuovo, grazie canuleia!
