Best wine bar I’ve been to! You can try any wine by the glass and they have a massive wine collection. Great experience and very knowledgeable staff. Amazing service by the team at Cantine Isola dal 1896!

Historic place in Milan. Great selection of wines that the average customer won't be able to taste (and understand) in a lifetime! There was a time when I would have called it a neighborhood bar with lots of bottles. Today I can define it as a highly convivial wine bar. There is room for everyone abroad.

Cantine Isola is a historic wine shop in Milan in via Paolo Sarpi in Chinatown. Much loved by the Milanese, it has obtained the title of best wine shop in Italy.

Cantine Isola has the largest selection of wines in Milano, even if most of them are secured by lock and key and only accessible by the owner Luca Sarais. Cantine Isola is always busy, crammed in the tight space inside, but also outside on Via Paolo Sarpi. Across the street, don’t miss the vegetarian crepes at Ravioleria Sarpi. Thanks to Matt Rooney for helping me discover the magic of this place.

Che dire, un enoteca winebar incredibile con una mescita molto molto interessante. Si possono bere champagne di vigneron come di maison. Stuzzichini minimi ma soddisfacenti. Prezzi un filo alti ma merita

Locale situato in zona Paolo Sarpi, in stile enoteca retrò milanese. Si può ordinare un calice di vino da bere in piedi o una bottiglia di vino da condividere. Unica pecca, ci sono pochi posti a sedere.

30/05/2024: We have been fine. Wide choice of beers and whiskies. Nice outside space on a very quiet street. Very exotic banana plant. Very good sandwiches (I took the herring-based one and the salmon-based one) but cleverly made a little too small so you can buy two if you're a little hungry. (15-20% larger would be sufficient). Two sandwiches, two pints of Brooklyn IPA (very good) —> €30. Price in line with Milanese standards.
13/04/2024: Mulligan’s. From brothers Beppe e Alviero Bertoni, Mulligan’s is a true Irish pub, offering authentic Irish food, quality draft beers and outstanding whisk(e)y and rum. Mulligan’s together with Harp Pub Guinness carry on the strong Milanese whisky tradition first introduced by Giorgio D’Ámbrosio of Bar Metro.

22/05/2024: Very nice traditional place. If you like well done comfort food of the Italian tradition, this is a nice cozy place where to gather for good fish, meat and pastas for a reasonable price
21/05/2024: It's an excellent fish restaurant (there's also meat), especially the raw and cooked starters, and we'll gladly go back, welcomed by Gennaro. I often go there with friends.
