Friendly staff, good and cheap lunches, excellent coffee

As a commuter I have always experienced station bars as quite gray places useful for quick breakfasts or snacks. This does not apply to this place, what a nice surprise! At lunch the chef cooks tasty and carefully made express dishes (especially the carbonara) at truly ridiculous prices for the quality and quantity. I had better lunch here than in various Florentine trattorias. Special mention also for the coffee (perfect, not burnt, excellent arabica) and the service (courteous and quick). Definitely NOT just any station bar.. GOOD! The queue of people waiting does honor to the cook!

Bar at Rifredi station, always clean, with plenty of choice for a quick breakfast or lunch break, well-stocked tobacconist, extremely friendly and helpful staff. I use it mainly to send and collect parcels, and in this too the service is very efficient. I would add that my dogs are always welcome and are welcomed like people. Advised.
