A square lounge, extremely fascinating both in the architecture of the houses that overlook it and for the many places (where you can eat really well and at honest prices) and for the mood you breathe. Lucca is a beautiful and lively city.

Great place to eat and enjoy the day. Most places have sprinklers that make sitting more pleasant.

Clean with a wide choice of venues

Seen in eighth grade and now 40 years later. Always a welcome architectural effect in shape and colour. I really appreciated the cleanliness even though there were so many people. Prices, rightly so, like a tourist place but acceptable.

Amphitheater square, the most suggestive place in the city. It has an elliptical shape, bordered by buildings with tall and narrow facades, which completely enclose the square, with four arched entrances, which may have been the entrances to the former amphitheater. The amphitheater was built in i. s. It was built in the 1st or 2nd century to accommodate around 10,000 spectators, but it fell into ruins during the Migration Period. The ruined building was used as a quarry by the inhabitants of the city and most of the remains were carried away, from which the houses and churches were built. Today, visitors here find themselves in a square with a unique atmosphere, where they can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner at the tables of pleasant small restaurants.
