28/05/2024: If you're looking to eat fresh, good but not great fish and you don't expect welcoming service in a small/medium sized place, that's fine.
We had two dinners, booked in advance online.
Arriving and saying the name at the register, the girl didn't look at us and immediately sent her colleague to the table.
Service:
+ They looked for a different table for us than the initial one which was near the "corridor"
- except (and I'm sorry to say it, but it's the truth!) the two waiters who were probably of Italian origin, the others who were foreigners were not very kind, with few smiles.
Food:
The starter (scallops) was fabulous, I have already eaten them several times in Milan and in the south, they were excellent
The first, calamari with lobster and Taggiasca olives was ok. Excellent pasta cooking, fresh fish, unfortunately very oily and heavy. For 17 euros ok.
The second was a Ligurian dish. Fish with potatoes and Taggiasca olives. The dish was unfortunately so salty (more the potatoes than the olives) that you couldn't eat it except the fish!
And I often eat Taggiasca olives, I know they are salty but it wasn't edible like this!
Excellent oil on the table, good house wine. Bread nothing special.
We paid €70 for a starter x2, 1 first course, 1 second course (both divided), 1/2 liter of house wine.
So all in all, I would go back, because maybe it was a coincidence, but I can't give 4 stars, sorry.
26/05/2024: The best seafood restaurant . If you look for an experience of eating fresh seafood, this is the place.
The staff is also amazing. Great enthusiasm !
