It didn't look like much from the outside, but it's actually much more than 3 stars. The rooms are spacious and perfectly clean. The bathroom too. Bigger than rooms in some hotels. Breakfast excellent. For everyone's taste and needs

Hotel for every recommendation. Clean, tidy, comfortable. The food is excellent, everything is fresh, in unlimited quantities, a large selection for everyone's taste. The staff in the hotel and restaurant are professional, friendly and accommodating. All the best! Excellent food! Stuff perfect! Comfortable!

We stayed in the hotel from 16-18. 08. We are very satisfied with the service at the hotel. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, the food is excellent. The furniture in the room may not be the most modern, but everything is neat and clean. We will surely return to this hotel again, and we recommend it to other guests.

I arrived around 9.30pm, it was my first stay and I didn't know the hotel. I went up the stairs that lead to the restaurant and was rudely rejected by the waitress, who, instead of professionally and kindly showing me the entrance, addressed me in a rather rude manner, and this was not a good sign. visit. The rooms are basic, comfortable bed, decent breakfast.

Everything was perfect, service and staff, the only flaw was the rooms, carpets everywhere or a constant leakage of perfume which caused an allergy in my wife.

We gave ourselves a weekend to join our son in Slovenia. Excellence in everything, from the super clean room to the breakfast in the restaurant. You are pampered at the highest levels. Breakfast of an exceptional level, with a wide choice of sweet and savory, dinner was also top notch even though there was a fixed menu, although on the second evening we went down to the restaurant as soon as it closed, the super kind girl still allowed us to dine with super tasty dishes. what can I say? Hotel that met expectations in every way. Greetings also to Rocìo for the welcome, making us feel immediately at ease. I absolutely recommend

I gave 2 stars for the carpet in the bedroom. With several stains...anyway....in 2024 there should be no carpet in the bedroom.. I can't say anything about the plentiful and choice breakfast... Friendly and helpful waiters...

La Tavernetta al Castello di Spessa

29/11/2023: Quello che ci è piaciuto di questa esperienza è stato sicuramente l'ambiente molto carino e il personale davvero molto preparato, gentile e premuroso. Ci siamo sentiti coccolati. Il cibo indubbiamente buono. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione casanova. La qualità buona, ma a nostro avviso mancava un po' di sprint nei piatti. Quello che ci ha convinto di più è stato il risotto allo stravecchio di capra con le pere. Negli altri piatti, seppur appunto buoni, mancava qualcosa che ti facesse ricordare il piatto.
31/10/2023: Al di là della splendida location, incastonata fra i vigneti del Castello di Spessa, questa tavernetta accoglie i propri ospiti con una cucina buona ma mai memorabile. L’insalata calda di porcini abbina al fungo cotto una un po’ improbabile insalata verde ricoperta di parmigiano grattugiato: un accostamento di dubbia fantasia. Le animelle con castagne e funghi sono invece molto buone. Per il tris di formaggi a chiusura della cena abbiamo atteso ben 20’: decisamente troppo per quanto ci è stato servito. Cantina ricca di etichette friulane, elencate per tipo di vino e non per produttore. Servizio lento. Troppe le sbavature per un conto che supera i 60€, vini esclusi.
