I go there every day and you notice people sitting there enjoying what they preferred to consume. Yes, “Il Fornaio” is undoubtedly one of the best bars because you are immediately struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere, perfect for the start of a day. The interiors are tastefully furnished and when customers sit down they can only smile because the real strength of "Il Fornaio" is the staff. Their commitment and dedication, their energy and their enthusiasm, their smile and their passion, in short everything that comes from them contributes to weaving beautiful moments that accompany you throughout the day. They make you feel immediately at ease because each member of the team is highly professional and sensitive, always ready to satisfy every request with a smile. They know how to demonstrate that customers are more important than anything else. Breakfast here is truly an experience not to be missed. The selection of sweet and savory foods is vast and varied, satisfying all tastes. From freshly baked croissants (the pistachio ones are delicious, real pistachio), to pizzas and focaccias of various flavors and sandwiches stuffed with different cured meats. The drinks, from coffee to freshly squeezed juices, are prepared with care and attention to detail. As soon as I got there I left my backpack on one chair of the table and turned around to order. As soon as I turned back again I saw that a man that came in after me took my spot so I made him notice my backpack was there as a spot saver but he didn't care. What I didn't expect was that the daughter of the owner, since she knows this person just let it slide. I had my breakfast outside and when I went to pay I got shocked. 4,80€ got a coffee and a krapfen with slightly more cream. It's a robbery!!! It isn't the first time I went there but for sure, they won't see me again. I am not Italian but since I've lived here my hole life I can tell you that 3,6€ for a krapfen Is at least twice as much that you would spend anywhere else. Usually you get charged 1,2€ for a coffee and from 1,2€ to 1,5€ for a krapfen.

We stopped in this location for a small pit stop in the center of Novara, I certainly wasn't expecting the starred restaurant obviously but overall it was okay, the pizza by the slice was good, all three variants ordered, the service at the Table is not available and the notice is within sight on every table. If you happen to pass by, everything accompanied by a spritz is certainly fine.

A second more and I would have left. My question is the following: are you looking for staff because you love to chat, so do you need a third? The greeting was also late as if I were indifferent whether I had entered or not. This impression is important although the quality of the food is excellent. But it's not enough. Because like me, many people look at the place and think about what was negative. It is harming reincarnation. Sorry, too bad I won't be back again.

We had 1 coffee, an apple tart and a cappuccino. Apparently they don't do table service because we brought the tray to the table ourselves. The cappuccino, by the time it reached the table, no longer had the foam, the cake and the coffee were good.
