Dealing with demanding tourists from all over the world who insist on sitting wherever they want and demand immediate attention must be exhausting, but our waiter, Tawhid handled it all in stride and provided excellent service. The food was good and the views were spectacular. Sometimes tourists need to just take a breath, relax and enjoy the environment.

All about location! Great spot on the canal right near the academia bridge. Food was ok and overpriced but don’t think it’s a place I would need to revisit. Dessert was really good

A shop very well located Below and next to the wooden bridge of the Academy. It has a very beautiful view of the grand canal and the church of Santa Maria di salute. The cappuccino we drank was good, but it didn't have tiramisu. Courteous behavior and service. Cappuccino price according to the location of the shop at 6 euros

This place was chosen only because of the beautiful view and nothing more. Prices are too high. Service is so-so. Aperol is delicious, costs 8 euros

Beautiful view and very pleasant service. Food for 4, the fish soup was fine, the appetizers and pasta weren't bad but nothing to wow.

Best coffee with a view. I sat on the terrace, in front of the canals and enjoyed a delicious cappuccino. Honestly, a remarkable experience.

24/02/2024: There are so many restaurants in Venice with mixed reviews, so we were delighted after a long day of walking to be welcomed here on this busy corner not far from St Marks area, and find that this restaurant was in fact brilliant: friendly, efficient waiters, who spoke good English, easy to understand menu, delicious starter of mozerella & prosciutto ham followed by spaghetti meatballs and a huge insalata mista which is the mixed salad of fresh lettuce, etc. A basket of bread on the side was provided and just ask for balsamic, virgin olive oil and parmesan if you want some. Prosecco was chilled and you can buy it by the half bottle if you don’t fancy a full 75cl. The restaurant had a lovely vibe, there were tourists from Italy, USA and GB during our visit. It was good value too. Of our 5 day trip to Venice, this was our favourite restaurant and we returned there again for pizza on our last night in Venice.
10/01/2024: Estamos acá en el Restoran 56 Zerootto. Mediodía 10 de enero de 2024. Mucho frío y sol. El lugar es muy acogedor. Muy buena atención. Tienen un menú de 3 pasos al mediodía de eu 19, muy rico. Vale la pena venir

09/05/2024: Arriving from the airport we ate in this restaurant. We have eaten well. I recommend this place
03/05/2024: We stopped in before catching the train home and hadn't checked the reviews beforehand. However we have 4 cichetti for 2 with 2 very decent select spritz for 24 EUR which remains within the prices charged plus an espresso for 3 euros on the terrace with a very fast and smiling waiter. We didn't try the dishes but for an aperitif it was pretty good.
