A historic bar, positioned in a "strategic" way where it is possible to have a good coffee, an aperitif, but also enjoy a pizza! Mandatory stop for tourists!

Great, authentic pastry and more… This is a pastecceria in the center of Monopoli that offers a wide variety of authentic Italian ( and local ) pastry with good coffee. They have inside and outside seating and do table serve. We tried multiple pastries on different visits and all was equally good. They also serve fresh pasta for lunch but we didn’t try that. Service is very relaxed and prices are way under what you would expect in the center. Go here and experience the great Puglia pastry and coffee taste.

Staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Best coffee I got while I was in Monopoli, chocolate and cream filled croissants where delicious. Only down side is the cafe is closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays, otherwise we would have ben there everyday.

26/03/2024: One of the most particular places in Bari... attention to detail, a perfect place to relax among books, sofas, soft lights, flowers that create an intimate, welcoming environment, characterized by a timeless vintage charm. They also organize series of very interesting events (live music, literary debates, etc.) which you will find on their fb/instagram page. And how can you not accompany these moments with something good to sip... I especially recommend the wines, local, organic, expertly chosen... you will truly make some great discoveries. The drinks are also good.. I don't give the highest rating only for the food: quantity and condiments a little "reduced" compared to the price.. But I'm sure it will improve on this too.
