Excellent neighborhood restaurant in the San Luigi area (Lodi/brenta). Very fresh fish, competitive prices and friendly staff.

Even though the place is a moment out of the way, it is a place where you can't go wrong. Sardinian cuisine with quality fish and friendliness that makes you feel at home. The fish first courses are excellent. The hot focaccia served as bread was very welcome. Correct prices.

Quality food. The fish dishes but also the pizza are good. It works on 2 shifts in the evening, so there's a bit of a rush on the first shift. The service is "characteristic" but in the end it is part of the place. The only real sore point was the noise, which was very loud and annoying due to the particular acoustics of the room

I've been here three times since January and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is curated but relaxed, the service is good, and the food is delicious 😋 they also have a good wine selection. The price is fair, not super cheap obviously but it's the right price point.

Popular place (for example, booking on Friday evening was essential). Informal, very intimate environment; single room. Sardinian cuisine mainly fish, plus pizzas. Average fish. I had scallops, risotto and mixed fried food. Decent quality, but not excellent.

Ristorante a conduzione familiare, caloroso e accogliente. Locale piuttosto piccolo, un po' rumoroso. Si mangia piuttosto bene, molti piatti tipici..dai primi di mare alla frittura mista. Piatti con buon rapporto qualità prezzo per la zona. Mirto offerto dalla casa. I tavoli sono pochi, e si mangia su turni, essenziale la prenotazione.

In questo ristorante si mangia bene, la qualità dei crudi è ottima , i primi , come ad esempio gli spaghetti con vongole e bottarga sono un ottima scelta. La grigliata un pò scarsa ma di qualità. consiglio le aragostine se sono di misura.(chiedete prima di ordinare) Note negative: Non per passare una serata in famiglia o una serata con la consorte.... locale stretto con i tavoli troppo vicini. Proprietari che litigano e urlano. Non puoi cenare e passare la serata li perchè ti fanno alzare per fare spazio alle persorne dei turni successivi senza troppi giri di parole. insomma bisogna valutare i pro ed i contro.

Ristorante Sa Mesa

27/05/2024: Sa Mesa is a traditional Sardinian restaurant in the heart of Alghero with both indoor and outdoor seating. Under the waiter's strong recommendation I ordered the lobster linguine off the menu of the day. I think the best I've ever eaten, half a lobster from which I got a lot of pulp, fresh linguine with a slightly spicy sauce without covering the flavor of the lobster. Also classic pig with potatoes and for dessert worthy seadas. Good wine, impeccable service. The staff is very friendly and lets the passion they have for catering shine through. Fair value considering the generous portions.
22/05/2024: Came in very late due to a delayed flight. Despite the kitchen closing the chef was kind enough to rustle me up a couple of plates of seafood at the last minute. Very fresh fish, traditional Sarda bread and excellent wine to pair. The homemade grappa was delicious. Thanks for feeding me at the last minute 🙏
