I truly love this place! Being a professional chef it is hard to find a place that speaks food. I found it in Lucca in the name of Baccanale. Do not hesitate to check out this fabulous epicurean delight. The chef speaks my language and I urge you to go and savour the flavours. Don’t forget to have some dolce in their exquisite rendition of tiramisu. Simply the best! Costantin, you rock!

A sweet gem of a restaurant where everyone gets vip treatment, including my 4 year old son when we visited :) The food and wine is exceptional and the service is seamless but so friendly. We will be back!

I ate here twice in three days. First I had the stinco which was amazing and the recommended white wine from the region was a perfect match. Then on Pasquetta I went back because it was tugging at my heart strings and my tummy. The second time I had the regional soup "Pappa al pomodoro con stracciatella e sale nero" followed by "Tordello Lucchese al Ragu ai sentori di tartufo" accompanied by a suggested red wine which was again perfect. The owner's mother who helps him open was absolutely charming, the owner was also kind. The food was wonderful. Highly recommend this charming place which is in a quite location next to a very old church.

Absolutely amazing! The place is cute. The wine is great! The pasta is the best I have tried in Italy so far! The owner and staff are kind and friendly. I adore this place! Came two days in a row. My only disappointment is I am not staying in Lucca longer to go back!

I had the pleasure of having lunch in this delightful place, with an intimate and somewhat magical atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff and delicious food. Try the fish dishes!! Excellent!! The restaurant also has a pleasant outdoor space to enjoy in the summer. Highly recommended!!!

We spent a very pleasant Sunday evening, the decor was nothing short of sublime, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly, polite and very kind.
A very small space, intimate but comfortable.
