We stopped just today on our way back from Madonna di Campiglio. Generally we have always eaten well in the service stations with A. Not today, I ate a slice of meat (stringy and cold) and a side dish of potatoes (cold) left over on the plate. I don't usually complain because I understand that sometimes it can happen, but today I really can't help but give a negative opinion.

20/03/2024: A strange experience: we were told to sit anywhere, and then ordered to sit somewhere else, where the music was so loud that we moved once again. I ordered the Anolini in Brodo, because it is traditional in this area, and my husband the Cotaletta Milanese. His was fine, but mine was almost inedible; the broth had no flavour whatsoever, it tasted like the Anolini and its pasta water had been poured into my bowl. NO FLAVOUR. €14! I spooned/drank up the "broth" first, and then spooned parmesan over the little filled pastas, and I got through it that way. It was the worst meal I have eaten during this year's five weeks exploring Italy. The wine, however - a still house white - was amazing.

25/04/2024: Quando hai voglia di sentirti a casa, di essere coccolato, di gustare piatti tipici ma con sempre delle nuove alternative. Dove la cucina non è monotona ma varia a seconda delle settimane. Marina è una stupenda padrona di casa, Elena un braccio destro meraviglioso. Consigliatissimo il loro roast-beef……si scioglie in bocca. Porzioni super abbondanti, gentilezza e qualità dei prodotti fanno della trattoria da Maria uno dei miei posti del cuore.
15/02/2024: Pranzo ottimo in un ambiente rustico ed informale. Piatti della tradizione piacentina o interpretati dai cuochi di casa in modo eccellente. Bella ma scomoda la sala al primo piano.
