Crunchy stuffed pizza that I really like, it seems that the highlight is the one with surimi and I would never have said it and it won me over. The place is small with a large nativity scene that is left there all year round and lots of photos of Totò! He and his wife (I presume) make pizza and he serves the customers, there is often a queue but it's worth it.

Discovered thanks to franchino's videos. Crispier pizza I've ever tasted, excellent. Even after several bites it doesn't get boring, go there because unfortunately it won't be open forever

An institution. His stuffed pizza is out of the ordinary, as you can't find anymore. Everything moves in his time (and that of his partner who works with him, with the same philosophy), without frills but never without education and precision. The price, in case you were wondering (but you shouldn't know what he represents), is absolutely average for a stuffed pizza. P.S. Watch out for his nativity scene!

Senza ombra di dubbio una delle migliori pizze ripiene di Roma, se non la migliore. Su via Monti di Primavalle, a pochi passi dal capolinea della metro A (Battistini), Gianni al Mattone è un pezzo di storia del quartiere e un vero e proprio mago della pizza. Non è un caso che il mitico Franchino gli abbia assegnato 10 (unico in tutta Roma tra le pizze al taglio). Irrinunciabile quella con il granchio, una vera esplosione di sapore e di bontà. Consiglio di venirci sul presto, se non si vuole attendere troppo in fila ma soprattutto per essere certi di trovare ancora qualcosa sul banco, visto che qualsiasi pizza va letteralmente a ruba.

Numero 1, pizza bianca farcita di ogni ben di Dio Me ne mangerei una intera anche vuota Che dire…. Un istituzione da provare nella vita 👍
