It is one of the few culinary certainties in the city. It has always been the restaurant where you can eat traditional local dishes, but also some nice surprises such as the fettuccine with clams, mussels and courgette flowers enjoyed today. The desserts, the coffee, everything perfect. The service is always impeccable. In short, if you come to Avellino a stop at Martella is a must.

Quiet and private environment, excellent food (the cuisine excellently reflects the Avellino culinary tradition) and quality service. The only flaw: not exactly excellent ventilation of the room.

Just beautiful. Traditional, welcoming and exceptional food. This is exactly the type of restaurant I love to find in Italy. Great staff, lovely owner. And a great wine recommendation - made in Avellino!

We liked the old-fashioned atmosphere, with linen tablecloths and appropriate cutlery, and the very friendly service, with the owner himself coming to take our orders. This is OLD Italy at its best. A taste of times gone by and if we didn't live in Rome we would go back often. Fresh, excellent quality food and a large cellar. We would go back just for this place.

19/05/2024: We ate excellent dishes. Great courtesy of the service staff (also owners). A special thought to the lady in the kitchen who, with her 83 years of age, her vitality and the goodness of what she prepares certainly deserves an award and a lot of admiration.
26/04/2024: Excellent location. You feel like family. The owner, Fabio, is always careful to ensure that your stay is and above all remains a pleasant memory. The food is always something special, but always respecting local traditions. Every time the opportunity presents itself I don't delay in the slightest to return.

16/03/2024: At the request of friends, 4 of us went to these pubs which I must say from a scenic point of view are impressive, courteous staff but unfortunately the quality of the products is sufficient compared to the impression it offers; I took 2 platters of cured meats and cheeses for 4 people, very poor in both quality and quantity and 2 pinsas, obviously a frozen product prepared in the best possible way, only 33cl beer...very wrong...it's a shame but we will hardly return, I give it enough for don't seem offensive....not to mention the price, I dare say from high-end catering, I hope this is constructive to improve the quality with the relative price.....
